This is not a clean replacement choice. The wholesale inner market moved from Tsukiji to Toyosu in 2018, but Tsukiji's outer market stayed put and still does the eating, shopping and wandering better.

Toyosu is the real working auction site now. It is modern, controlled and less romantic, but if your priority is watching frozen tuna change hands, Toyosu is the one.
