This is not a strict either-or if you have several days in Antalya. Konyaalti and Lara sit on opposite sides of the city and feel different enough that the right answer depends on where you are staying and what kind of beach day you want.

Konyaalti is the stronger independent-traveler pick: long, pebbly, backed by Taurus mountain views, and tied into a modern promenade. Lara is the sandy resort option, closer to the airport and lined with large luxury hotels and all-inclusive properties.
